What is Love?

May 18, 2016

John 3:16-17 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

RJ: The world will be saved through Jesus Christ! God loves us so much that He gave up His son in order that our sins would be forgiven.(Now that is Love!) Believe in Him, and we are promised everlasting life. Have you asked Jesus into your life as LORD and Savior? If not, please do so today!

Am I Born Again?

John 3:3-8 – “Jesus answered and said to Nicodemus, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

RJ: I love this discussion, Jesus trying to explain to Nicodemus, a very wise ruler of the Jews, that we must accept the unknown and trust God. We will not understand being “born again”, but we must trust that when we ask Jesus into our lives He blesses us with the Holy Spirit, the old self is gone and we are a new person. Please don’t be Nicodemus, trust Jesus words!

Grace and Truth

John 1:14 – “And the Word (Jesus) became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

RJ: Thank You Father for sending your son Jesus. Have you ever wondered what it would have been like to be one of the Disciples? To walk by Jesus side? To see the miracles? To see and feel His love? Well… We can walk with Him in our heart and soul. We can experience His presence in our lives. Ask, and He will be with you always.

A Gift for Free

John 1:10-13 – “He was in the world and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name; who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

RJ: To those who believe in Jesus name and receive Him, He receives as His child. This privilege is not something we earn, salvation is a gift from the LORD! Rejoice in the LORD today! God Bless!
