2 Corinthians 4:7-10

September 26, 2016

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—always carrying about in the body the dying of the LORD Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifest in our body.”

RJ: Wow! We have the power of Jesus living in us. We are weak, earthly vessels, but the LORD gives us the power to overcome those weaknesses. Allow His joy, power and love to be manifested in your life. May others see Jesus through you! Have a Blessed Day!

Acts 16:28-34

July 15, 2016

Acts 16:28-34 – “But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.” Then the keeper of the prison called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the LORD Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Then they spoke the word of the LORD to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.”

RJ: “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the LORD Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.” Thank you LORD for this promise, a promise made to each and every person in our world today! Have you asked the jailor’s question? Have you received Jesus Christ as your Savior? If not, today is the day! Praying for you today!

2 Chronicles 7:14

2 Chronicles 7:14 – “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

RJ: It is no coincidence that early yesterday morning I read this scripture before learning of the tragedy in Dallas. So many are asking what must be done to heal our Nation and World? This scripture has four commands that we must follow to begin the healing process. We must also turn back to the Biblical Christian principles this Nation was founded on, and we must follow the great commandment, “to love our neighbor as ourselves.” Please take time daily to pray for revival in our Nation and World, prayer can change our direction.

What is Love?

May 18, 2016

John 3:16-17 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

RJ: The world will be saved through Jesus Christ! God loves us so much that He gave up His son in order that our sins would be forgiven.(Now that is Love!) Believe in Him, and we are promised everlasting life. Have you asked Jesus into your life as LORD and Savior? If not, please do so today!

Am I Born Again?

John 3:3-8 – “Jesus answered and said to Nicodemus, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

RJ: I love this discussion, Jesus trying to explain to Nicodemus, a very wise ruler of the Jews, that we must accept the unknown and trust God. We will not understand being “born again”, but we must trust that when we ask Jesus into our lives He blesses us with the Holy Spirit, the old self is gone and we are a new person. Please don’t be Nicodemus, trust Jesus words!
