Welcome to THIRST™ and the Living Waters Fund website. Our purpose is:
- The proactive prevention of suicide by encouraging people physically, emotionally, and spiritually – Body, Mind, Heart and Soul.
- To lend support to families and friends who have lost loved ones to suicide.
- To actively promote suicide education, prevention and support.
- To create a Prayer Line to lift up the emotional and spiritual needs of the hurting.
- To financially support and partner with causes and organizations with a similar passion and successful outcomes.
- To raise funds through bequests, gifts, and fundraisers.
Now straight to those of you who are hurting and searching for help… In talking to people who have been exactly where YOU are, we’ve come to understand the pain you feel. We ask you to STOP and reach out right now to someone that has walked in your shoes; someone who has experienced your pain and suffering. Life is better with you in it, and YOU do have a purpose in this world and it’s right around the corner if you will make the decision now to reach out and change your path and seek what God has for you. God’s well never runs dry and his plan for YOUR life is more than you can imagine.
“Jesus answered and said to her, everyone who drinks of this water shall thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” John 4:13-14
